SORRY MOTHER

Mom, once you told me that I was the source of your misery. The smile and laugh I gave you that day was fake. I'm sorry cause I didn't find your joke was funny at all. The day I win a first place, I thought you'd be happy to hear that. It broke my heart when I found that you only longed the hand that brought this family into misery.

Mom, I know you hate the situation I put you in. Be a mother of mine seems like a great curse to you. Everytime you told me that you resent my sire, I tried to lessen your resentment by agreeing and listening to that even though it feels like I betray him.

Mom, trust me, i tried my best to be the perfect child you prefer. I didn't cry when I hurt. I tell no lies. Didn't go out to my friends as you wish. Cowered when I asked to. When I fall, I back up on my own so you can nurture my sibling. I even killing every dream of mine to achieve the thing you always wanted me to be.

Yet why did you still leave me when I needed you the most? Why you ghost me with your sweet words? You know the most I hate to be betrayed, but you plotted the biggest betrayal in my 20 years in this earth.

So, I'm sorry mom. I wish I could turn back the time and made sure I was never born at all.
