I wish I understood my dreams

I wish I understood my dreams

We all have had dreams at some point of our lives, and a lot of people stop having dreams at about 10 to 12 years old. I’m turning 16 years old this year, and my dreams are just as active as when I was 7 years old. But the thing is, most of our dreams come from our real lives. I have a really good life, I have a good family, good friends, enough money, plenty of opportunities. But I’m so bored all the time, and I’m not sure what to do about it. My dreams are super strange. They make no sense, and I don’t see how they connect to my real life in any way. My dreams sometimes have an adventure in it, but I’m home bound, and I have cabin fever. I love what and who I have right now, but I long for something. Yes a little fresh air or going out of town would be nice, but I already do that a couple times a year. So what do I want? I’m not sure, but I wish my dreams gave me an answer. Like I typed before, dreams generally reflect on real life. But my dreams, I don’t have a clue what they could possibly mean. I am messed up in the head, but not in very many ways. Depression, yes. Anxiety, yes. But having dreams that only make the two worse? That completely unnecessary. Dreams that make you confuse real life from reality? Completely unnecessary. Dreams that hurt you? My only questions are “Why are they happening? When are they gonna stop? And most importantly... are they true?”

Do you ever have dreams that repeat? Like you have a dream and then days or weeks later you have the same exact one again and can remember it in detail better than other ones?
